I vividly remember ‘Culture Day’ in 7th grade when I was in the U.S. It was a special event where students chose a country to present to the whole school and invited guests. Naturally, I presented on South Korea, proudly wearing the traditional 한복 (Hanbok). I still recall the sparkle in people’s eyes as they discovered a new culture—an experience that first ignited my excitement for sharing my heritage. This passion eventually led me to teach languages.
